MVZ Hautärzte am Markt in Dortmund becomes part of the CORIUS Group

Dortmund, 2 November 2026. The CORIUS Group is expanding its dermatology network in North Rhine-Westphalia: as of 1 October 2026, MVZ Hautärzte am Markt in Dortmund is now part of the CORIUS Network. The practice, well-established for decades under the medical direction of Dr. med. Thomas Brinkmeier and Dr. (H) Sören Rabenhorst, treats patients at two locations in Dortmund city centre.

The range of services offered by MVZ Hautärzte am Markt includes medical, surgical, diagnostic and aesthetic dermatology. The practice places particular emphasis on the prevention, early detection and treatment of skin cancer, including reflected light microscopy, surgical procedures and photodynamic therapy. The medical care centre also uses a particularly advanced form of skin diagnostics with innovative line-field confocal optical coherence tomography (LC-OCT). This modern, non-invasive imaging method enables high-resolution examination of the skin and is especially helpful in supporting diagnosis of skin cancer and planning treatments. Laser treatments, plus diagnosis and treatment of skin diseases such as acne, atopic dermatitis (eczema) and psoriasis, are also part of the range of services offered.

The practice has two locations in Dortmund: one right in the centre of the city, on Marktplatz, and another branch just 250 metres away, on Wißstraße, with five specialist doctors and six doctors in specialist training under the direction of Dr. med. Brinkmeier and Dr. (H) Rabenhorst. Together, the team care for patients from Dortmund, the Ruhr Area, North Rhine-Westphalia and beyond.
