Why should my practice join CORIUS?
About us: The CORIUS Group is a network of dermatology and phlebology practices.
As a member of the CORIUS Group, all our practices benefit from the wide-ranging advantages of a large network, including in the search for a medical successor, medical networking between practices and staff, shadowing opportunities, an array of CPD opportunities, investments in the latest technologies, and efficient procurement with competitive group rates. Plus, CORIUS Head Office takes on all administrative tasks, meaning medical staff can concentrate on medical care after handing over their practice.
What are the requirements for handing over / selling a practice to CORIUS?
We are usually interested in very large (and therefore often hard-to-sell) dermatology or phlebology practices with at least two statutory health insurance licences. Practice owners are usually nearing their thoroughly deserved retirement and have been trying for some time to find a succession solution for their medical practice.
However, other practice owners looking to continue working several years after selling their practice are also welcome to join our network. They can gradually reduce their working hours at any time and entrust their practice to a responsible successor.
How does the process of handing over a practice to the CORIUS Group work?
Every practice has its own unique characteristics and circumstances, so the handover process always focuses on individual solutions. First, we have a face-to-face chat to get to know you and your practice, placing great value on transparent and honest communication. Then, we check the requirements for joining our network. Once these checks have been carried out successfully, you will receive a contract from us in which all agreements are laid down in writing. The practice then becomes a community health centre (Medizinisches Versorgungszentrum / MVZ) in order to be incorporated into our Group. Our specialist teams will support you throughout the entire handover process so that you can depend on us as a reliable partner by your side. You can also continue to use our CORIUS head office services after handing over the practice.
What will happen to my employees?
We will take on your employees. Once they have been integrated, they will be able to enjoy the wide array of benefits offered by the Group, such as participation in further training courses, professional exchange within the network, flexible working hours, career-family life balance, and many more benefits.
What will change for the practice and its employees under CORIUS?
Decisions regarding medical and operational activities remain the responsibility of the medical director(s). The CORIUS Group relieves practices of all administrative tasks, allowing medical staff to focus on the well-being of the patients.
