The Zentrum für Dermatologie, Allergologie und Dermatopathologie Darmstadt MVZ becomes part of the CORIUS Group

Munich/Darmstadt. As of 1 April 2025, the Zentrum für Dermatologie, Allergologie und Dermatopathologie Darmstadt MVZ is part of the CORIUS Group. This renowned practice, under the medical leadership of Dr C. G. Schirren, is one of the region’s foremost dermatological facilities. For almost three decades, it has stood for top-tier medical expertise and patient-centred care.

The Zentrum für Dermatologie, Allergologie und Dermatopathologie Darmstadt MVZ offers a wide range of dermatological services. In addition to classic and surgical dermatology, it also provides skin cancer prevention, dermatosurgery, allergology, laser therapy and aesthetic dermatology. The practice also specialises in dermatopathology diagnosis, providing both patients and external referrers with fast and precise evaluations of tissue samples.

‘Our practice is characterised by a high level of clinical expertise and many years of experience. We place great importance on personable, well-founded advice and treatment for our patients. Training the next generation of dermatologists is also a matter that’s close to our hearts,’ says Dr Schirren.

He is supported by a 38-member team, which includes three other salaried specialists and five assistant trainees. In 2024, the practice treated around 14,000 patients and analysed and diagnosed 38,000 dermatopathological samples. Since 2013, the practice has also been QEP-certified, further underlining its excellent quality standards.

Joining the CORIUS Group enables the practice to benefit from a strong medical network and optimised organisational structures for the future.
